The biggest trance event of the year will be back in 2025: tickets will go on sale next week
It was usually Halloween or Christmas holidays when Armin van Buuren and his team announced all the news about the new A State Of Trance event, years ago. In keeping with the current times where everything is moving faster and faster, last year Armin made the big announcement well in advance: a new anthem, a new team but above all: a new home.
A State Of Trance DESTINATION whose main event took place at Ahoy Rotterdam on February 23rd and 24th, after eight incredible editions held in the legendary location of Jaarbeurs Utrecht, was the symbolic event of a new era for the radioshow and its anthem signed by Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Ruben de Ronde and Rank 1, was the most favourite trance track of 2023: two days of real trance music (and not only) in which we were lucky enough to participate and to approcciate some artists on the stages; it was the largest edition ever in terms of number of artists.
But it’s time to turn the page: we still don’t know the anthem and the name of the new event A State Of Trance, but we certainly know the dates, announced yesterday during episode 1188 of the radioshow: next February 21st and 22nd 2025 the Ahoy Rotterdam will once again transform into the biggest dance floor.
Similarly to the 2023 event, called REFLEXION and which celebrated the 1000 episodes of the radioshow, next year during Friday 21st February, Armin van Buuren will perform a long 5-hour back-to-back set with some special guests, while on Saturday 22nd all five stages will be open to welcome the many artists.
