Tom Weyer, from Germany, produced some great hits during the 90s with “Commander Tom” alias, characterized by the use of a sound that ranges from the purest techno to hard-trance. Perhaps his biggest hit was “Are Am Eye?” of 1995, contained in the EP “Volume One” released shortly before. “Are Am Eye?” it is a hard-trance song where there is an alternation of acid trance, techno and even hardcore sounds. The song had a sequel of numerous remixes (the most famous by Yves De Ruyter), also thanks to the 1999 edition released four years later.
