The first names of the line-up for next year’s event were announced during the incredible non-stop marathon of A State Of Trance x ADE special episode
It’s that week of the year: that week when the streets of Amsterdam fill up with hundreds of thousands of entusiast people from every corner of planet to celebrate dance music; and it’s also that day, that Thursday of the year, when the A State Of Trance’s studios also fill up with incredible guests, lots of new music and lots of amazing news.
The 10-hour marathon of A State of Trance episode 1195, from 14:00 until midnight, to celebrate the Amsterdam Dance Event is still underway, but inevitably the first important news about the next event A State Of Trance 2025 have already out.
A State Of Trance DESTINATION, an edition of the festival, which symbolized the arrival at the “new home” of Ahoy Rotterdam, but also an anthem that has now become epic, have changed the face of A State Of Trance over the last year: the path of the legendary radio show, however, is always full of new objectives and from year to year it always offers incredible atmospheres.
The match of trance with the wave of techno music that stands out in festivals around the world in recent times has inevitably transformed the sound of many artists: we had already felt it during the last edition of the festival last February, without however going to upset the foundations of the trance genre which, historically, have a lot in common with techno music.
Various styles have therefore been created that in many ways also recall a certain “old school” trance, characterized by sustained rhythms and dark atmospheres: the union of trance and techno and not only, obviously also progressive trance, will all be characteristics that will be part of the new era of A State Of Trance, called TRANSFORMATION.
The first names of the event that will be held on February 21st and 22nd 2025 at Ahoy Rotterdam have already been released today:
Armin van Buuren of course, Factor B, Laura van Dam, Cubicore & UUFO, Ferry Corsten, Ruben de Ronde, Giuseppe Ottaviani, the return of Andrew Rayel, SUPERSTRINGS, Nifra, Agents Of Time, Ben Gold, Ahmed Helmy, Hollt, XiJaro & Pitch, Aly & Fila and three incredible B2B of Armin van Buuren with Maddix, ARTBAT and Ben Hemsley announced so far.
Among the big news about A State Of Trance event, the participation of INSOMNIAC Events, famous above all because it is behind the world-famous events of Dreamstate around the world, which from this year arrives in Europe and will collaborate in the creation of the next ASOT event.
And of course, the new chapter of A State Of Trance accompanied by the new anthem, previewed tonight: Armin van Buuren collaborated with Ben Hemsley for this very powerful track, absolutely trance, characterized by the presence of a vocal part (by Lucy Pullin), an absolute innovation for the anthems of A State Of Trance.
