After careful analysis, the organizers of the event have chosen to open some events to a limited audience.
Amsterdam Music Event celebrates its 25th anniversary this year and continues to be the center of the world for live electronic music in the week that happens in October. It is useless to reiterate the heavy impact that covid-19 continues to give to this sector and it was hoped for an important improvement in the situation to ensure that in the autumn period we could return to normal management of such events. Unfortunately, this is not the case yet but very slowly we are trying to propose certain music festivals with limited capacity of people.
Precisely for this reason the Dutch organizers have decided that ADE will take place next month and for the moment the open musical venues will be Paradiso Noord, Bimhuis, Concertgebouw, Melkweg and Paradiso. The tweet of hope officially arrived these days gives hope for an increase in meeting places in the coming days or weeks.
A select number of #ADE20 Covid-proof seated concerts and cross-cultural projects will take place in Amsterdam as ADE Specials. First confirmed venues include @Bimhuis, @Concertgebouw, @melkweg, @ParadisoAdam and @tolhuistuin, with more to be announced: https://t.co/6A3MxHNvYu pic.twitter.com/qngaEW1DtA

Beyond this unexpected proposal, we remind you that ADE still guaranteed the main events in virtual mode in the month of July and that the details have not yet been disclosed. We obviously expect this new business platform to offer the Amsterdam Music Festival and the Top 100 Djs ranking as a final gift.
