The first release of 2021 by the english label is the remix by a historical name of electronic music.
The preview of this song took place three months ago, in the 400th appointment of Group Therapy, on that occasion the Above & Beyond made us listen for the first time ever to this special remix that today officially the same trio announces its upcoming release.
We are talking about the new remix of “Thing Called Love” entrusted to Oliver Heldens, the pioneer and great talent of house music (the dutchman is the most prolific producer of 2020 according to 1001tracklists) has linked his name to the Spinnin’ Records and its sub-label Heldeep Records as well as a myriad of successful remixes in recent years (collaborations also with Tiesto, Sander van Doorn …).
This work that we listen to today goes even further towards massive and decidedly trance sounds and is a successful experiment that has been received in a very positive way, the producer decides to work the vocal by Richard Bedford on a very powerful base and a typical rousing bass of many Anjuna’s progressive tech publications of recent periods.
It is certainly not the first time that producers from the house and techno branch have decided to elaborate purely trance remixes but when there is a basic talent it is not difficult for these musical icons to resume precise musical concepts.
