Sander van Doorn puts his hand on the famous collaboration between Above & Beyond and Armin van Buuren of 2019
It was February 23, 2019 and on the stage of A State Of Trance 900 in Jaarbeurs Utrecht the notes of a giant collaboration between Above & Beyond and Armin van Buuren were playing: “Show Me Love”, which became an iconic hit on the trance dancefloors during that year.
Tonight, during episode 1014 of A State Of Trance, one of the two special guests was Sander van Doorn and the “Tune Of The Week” was his remix of “Show Me Love”: a re-release of the track in a big room and psy trance key, very suitable for the atmosphere of major events and which is already a candidate to be one of the most played tracks of next summer, when we will finally return to dance.
The musical encounter between the two Dutch artists, Armin van Buuren and Sander van Doorn, took place already fifteen years ago, thanks to the glorious remix of “Control Freak” by van Doorn, a real trance bomb and one of the most interesting works of his career, a career also enhanced by his alias Purple Haze, where the artist show more his “dark” trance side.
