This all-English partnership gives us an beautiful progressive-trance gem
It’s not so recurring see being born collaborations of high-level producers with Above & Beyond: lately it had happened with Armin van Buuren for “Show Me Love” in 2019 and some others seem ready on the horizon: one of these is coming in the next few days , with the English DJ and producer Mat Zo, Grammy Award nominated and author of some indelible progressive trance tracks such as “Rebound” (with ARTY) of 2011 and still in the limelight for the acclaimed his latest studio album “Illusion Of Depth” of 2020.
The announcement of Group Therapy Weekender London for September 10 and 11 is just the latest in a series of events that Above & Beyond have announced that will accompany the whole of 2022: on the emotional wave of this, new productions and collaborations, already anticipated during the last big event last September, the ABGT450 at The Drumsheds, also in London, will be the soundtrack to this “reinessance” of live events: among these, in fact, appears the new track with Mat Zo, out this Friday:
This awesome collaboration is called “Always Do”, a real journey of trance sounds that does not abandon the sophisticate, taste of the high-level progressive music of the early 2000s, a perfect match that gives us a real precious gem; It’s the first real collaboration between Above & Beyond and Mat Zo, which is reconfirmed as one of the pillars of the Anjunabeats label and which still tends to establish itself into sophisticated and never trivial trance sound panorama.
