‘Take Off’ the insane collaboration between Armin van Buuren and ARTBAT

A massive collaboration coming out next days that combines the current trends of trance and techno

It’s March 4, 2023, the long-awaited event, A State Of Trance 1000 renamed A State Of Trance Reflexion, is being celebrated: we all remember how that was the opportunity to invite high-level artists also belonging to an alternative electronic branch, among these DJs were ARTBAT which made the walls of Jaarbeurs Utrecht shake for 90 minutes with an impressive techno selection.

The excellent construction of their DJ sets leads them to play at another important stage, Creamfields 2023 at Steel Yard, London, on August 27th. Among the countless IDs played we listen to the one that today finally has a title: Take Off is the first collaboration between ARTBAT and Armin van Buuren, a very long intro accompanies trance sounds that launch into arpeggios and a progressive/techno restart.

Armin van Buuren has also been playing the new track in his DJ sets since last summer:

It’s easy to understand how this collaboration was born in the months following the mega event in Jaarbeurs Utrecht last March: ARTBAT’s musical career is now approaching a decade but they have forged ahead with some truly important collaborations, such as David Guetta (for It’s Ours with Idris Elba, 2022) and Camelphat (For a Feeling feat. Rhodes, 2020) The quality of their music is constantly experimenting and easily embraces different worlds, from classic techno to progressive to melodic house, a philosophy that Armin van Buuren really likes at this moment in his career.

It will be a track that we will listen to often, certainly during one of his numerous DJ sets scheduled at Ahoy Rotterdam on next 23 and 24 February for A State Of Trance Destination.

Armin van Buuren x ARTBAT – Take Off is out this week.
