The greatest trance success of the German DJ and producer, pioneer of techno music of the last thirty years
Thomas Brückner, known worldwide as Tomcraft, was one of the pioneers of German techno music from the mid-1990s until today: he has however often embraced or included the trance music style in many of his productions.
In September 2002 Tomcraft released the hit Loneliness on Kosmo Records, a vocal trance track (sung by Robin Felder) in which captivating elements of breaks and electro music come together giving the dancefloors of that autumn a fantastic track:
Loneliness became a hit across Europe, peaking at number 10 on the German Singles Chart and topping the UK Singles Chart, also boosted by the famous music video. This record is included in his second studio album ‘MUC’, released in 2003 and appeared in soundtrack album of the famous 2023 movie Saltburn, by Emerald Fennell.
Tomcraft passed away on 15th July 2024: Loneliness and many other hits made their way into the hearts of young techno-trance music fans of the 90s and early 2000s and for this we will always be grateful: thank you for giving us unforgettable moments of real music, Thomas.
