Above & Beyond with ‘React’, announce ‘Tranquility Base Vol. 2’

The incredible ABGT600 in Mexico City brought to the stage many beautiful new tracks from the legendary London trio, the first one was released today

Every ABGT event around the world also means waiting for the release of new “crackling” tracks, all “cooked” in the “Anjunakitchen”, obviously: also for the event signed 600 in Mexico City last October 19th, the legendary London trio played a preview of many of their new tracks and not only them.

Similarly to the event to celebrate the 500 episodes of the radio show two years ago in Los Angeles, Above & Beyond seem to have now revealed the desire to divide their new music into two different “worlds”: on one side, the new vocal trance gems heard during ABGT600, with the legendary Richard Bedford, Zoe Johnston and Justine Suissa always at their side (bringing three new absolutely incredible tracks, needless to say …) and their new club instrumental tracks, which will be included in the announced Tranquility Base Vol. 2 out on December 6th.

The new EP is in fact the second part of the work released last year, which already included five spectacular tracks (Angry JP8, Wasp, Spin Off, VELKNO and 500) and which bears the name (but not a return) of their legendary alias from the early 2000s Tranquility Base, precisely.

Today the first single from Tranquility Base Vol. 2, React, was released; this is a tracks that had actually been circulating for a while in their DJ sets over the last year, and it stands out because it is a progressive/dance track that plays with time; it flows first slowly, then fast, until it is very fast.

The other four tracks of the EP were played during the event in Mexico City and in our opinion they are incredible tracks, each one different from the other and with an iconic sound, between trance, progressive and breaks music.

Tranquility Base Vol. 2 is available for pre-save here.
