New album and new tour, Nic and Bossi tell us again about one of the longest careers ever for trance music
Cosmic Gate‘s musical inspiration traces a new imprint. Having now passed the milestone of 25 years of career, the presentation of a new album and a new tour is announced with the same enthusiasm and readiness as always, in one word: tenacious.
The last four years have been characterized by the progression of their MOSAIIK project, an album divided into two parts released between 2021 and 2023 and which has given many vocal collaborations, in a progressive concentrate with the unmissable deep/tech sound, icon of the German duo. Album characterized by an unforgettable partnership with the vocalist Diana Miro, together, authors of some tracks that have marked the enthusiasm of the fans.
The release of that album led Nic and Bossi to a huge tour divided into several phases, structured mainly in different American cities but which touched, of course, the major world festivals.
The wake of this experience seemed to have satisfied the two guys, in reality it is easier to believe that all this has pushed them to new inspirations and to return, once again, to the studio for a new chapter.
Perspectives officially becomes the ninth official album of Cosmic Gate. Announced through their social channels a few days ago, this new work will be released during 2025 but will be divided into three EPs : the first one will be released tomorrow, March 28, accompanied by the single Battalion, written together with Ginchy (author of Save Me with Laura van Dam) and other four tracks, including I’m On Fire, featuring James French, released last March 7: a track with techno-trance rhythms from an album that is still to be revealed together with its sure high-level collaborations.
Meanwhile, the new tour that takes its name from the album title has already started last February, with stops initially around the States, at least until June, when they will announce what their summer program will be and more.
