With a short but enganging post on social media, Ruben de Ronde’s Dutch label announces this important new step, opening up new musical horizons
The evolution of a record label does not come solely through the introduction of new musical styles, but at times also requires the courage to experiment with different and more direct forms of communication. It is within this context that the new initiative by Statement! Recordings takes shape. Now a fully mature reality, the label has announced the launch of its official radio show starting from the first day of the new year.
Founded over twenty years ago by Ruben de Ronde, Statement! has gradually gathered a wide range of renowned artists around it, establishing itself as a reference point within the progressive and deep scenes—genres closely linked to trance yet capable of engaging with other musical horizons as well. A solid and coherent journey that has led the label to a state of full artistic awareness. This new radio project will likely further highlight Ruben de Ronde’s communication skills behind the microphone, developed over the years alongside Armin van Buuren within A State Of Trance.
Although official details regarding the structure of the program and its distribution have not yet been disclosed, content shared on social media clearly points to a collaboration with Ellen, a Dutch-German model and writer. Her specific role will be clarified in the near future, but her involvement already confirms the intention to build a broader and more structured editorial project.
Another key element of the initiative will be the active involvement of the community, which will be invited to participate directly through the submission of music demos, participation in remix contests, the discovery of new music, and the publication of the latest Q&A sessions on the label’s YouTube channels.
