Everything is ready for one of the ultimate trance events, happening on February 27–28, crown by the final announcement of an iconic duo
There is exactly one month to go before the major Dutch celebration weekend marking the 25th anniversary of the A State Of Trance radio show, set to take place in Rotterdam: the stop at the Ahoy, the well-known venue located in the southern part of the city, represents, as we already know, just the first chapter of a broader series of events scheduled around the world throughout this newly started 2026. These celebrations will most likely extend beyond the dates already announced in Hong Kong and Vietnam (June 12 and 13), as well as the June 20 event in Poland.
Nevertheless, the Dutch edition remains the most important one, as it has been for the past fifteen years, since A State Of Trance evolved into a truly global touring concept. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the radio show, the line-up for February 27 and 28 in Rotterdam, which had already been largely revealed some time ago, has continued to expand with the latest additions, embracing all possible shades of trance, progressive and beyond. A characteristic we had already witnessed during the last two celebratory editions, although this year’s line-up, precisely because of the symbolic importance of the anniversary, features an even stronger focus on pure trance, as was the case during A State Of Trance events from several years ago.
As expected, however, modern influences leaning towards techno-trance are also part of the picture. One of the most anticipated moments will undoubtedly be the B3B between Armin van Buuren, Oliver Heldens and Maddix, scheduled for Saturday night, February 28. But surprises don’t stop there: for Friday, February 27, an unexpected and brand-new B2B was announced just yesterday between Armin van Buuren and one of the most iconic duos in ’90s and early 2000s house music, Deep Dish. What awaits us during their joint DJ set is truly something yet to be discovered.
With the announcement of Deep Dish, the line-up is now complete. Below are the confirmed artists:
