The list keeps growing: a list of legendary names and the wave of nostalgia that continues to flow endlessly throughout 2026, a year that has already given us every possible emotion and reason to hope.
This time, the spotlight falls on Jonas Steur or, if you prefer, Estuera.
His career only needs to be explained to Generation Z. For those who lived through that era, hearing his name inevitably brings back vivid memories. This is neither a surprise comeback nor the return of an artist after years of complete silence. Although he has been away from the spotlight for at least fifteen years, Jonas has continued producing music, remaining consistently active within the progressive scene.
Two years ago, he even launched In Steureo, the label on which he released three productions under the Jonas Steur name. More recently, we have also seen him collaborating through remixes and reworks with producers of the same calibre and musical sophistication, such as Daniel Wanrooy and Re:Locate.
In the last few hours, Pure Trance, the renowned label founded by Solarstone, announced the release of his next single: For Eternity. His first production of 2026 appears to draw inspiration from its very title, allowing Jonas to fully embrace the distinctive style that defined the most important works of his career. For Eternity was premiered live at Luminosity by Jonas Steur himself and was also selected by Solarstone and Orkidea for their acclaimed Pure Trance Vol. XI compilation.
A fast, driving and melodic groove: the three defining characteristics that first shaped Jonas Steur and later Estuera, establishing him as one of the most respected producers of his era and earning the support of many of the biggest names in the trance scene.
With this release, arriving on July 15, tracks such as Castamara, Second Turn and, above all, Tales From The South suddenly feel much closer than they once did. For those who lived through those years, it is yet another feeling that continues to define this remarkable 2026.
