Bryan Kearney, Ben Gold and Factor B are the protagonists of 2022 for A State Of Trance !

The episode 1100 of A State Of Trance decreed the preference for uplifting trance for this 2022 starting with its winner: Bryan Kearney

There is an air of novelty in the Amsterdam studios of A State Of Trance, coinciding with the arrival of the new year and the preparations for the big event, several times postponed, of the weekend of celebrations in Jaarbeurs Utrecht next 3 and 4 March: this does not has changed the formula of the radio show which, like every year, in this period, offers the listeners’ favorite tracks over the past 12 months.

It all happened yesterday, during the episode 1100 of A State Of Trance, in the company of the boss Armin van Buuren, his partners in crime Ruben de Ronde and Ferry Corsten of many guests,: the Top50 of the most voted records of this year once again reflects the best that trance and progressive have to offer, even if we remember that this is not the only year-end ranking or collection worthy of mention nor a complete summary of what was released during the year but certainly the best known: for listeners of A State Of Trance, in 2022 the uplifting style won and in fact last night we were able to listen to many tracks with a similar sound to each other: among these, undoubtedly the presence of three big artists was highlighted, especially in the high part of the Top50: Bryan Kearney, Ben Gold and Factor B.

In fact, this 2002’s “Tune Of The Year” is by Bryan Kearney: “Take This”, a melodic track from 2019 written by the American duo Out Of the Dust and by the now irreplaceable, for trance lovers, Plumb, was then arranged expertly by the Irish dj in a trance key, becoming the most popular song of the year. Also, his track at position #7, “Kaia“, the trance instrumental song dedicated to his daughter, born last September.

In second position we find another of the trance protagonists who in this 2022 has found its definitive consecration: the beautiful “Rest Of Out Lives” by Ben Gold, as well as being the #2 of the year for A State Of Trance listeners is also the name of his album this year: his also the #4 position with the equally beautiful “Same Sky, Same Stars” sung once again by Plumb and in bottom of the chart, “Take Me Away” with Benjamin Duchenne (#43), all songs contained in the trance album which, in our opinion, is the most iconic and disruptive of this 2022.

On the emotional wave of last year, the artist who has once again made inroads into the heart of the most ardent trance fans is Factor B in key of remixer: covering the #3 position of the most voted tracks with the very recent remix of “The Other Side” by Vintage & Morelli x Arielle Maren, Factor B has been able to give his emotional touch to other artists on the charts, to David Forbes feat. Susie Ledge for “Silent Waves” (#38) and the trance classic track by Aly & Fila & FKN feat. Jahala, “How Long” (2008), featured in Top10 (#10).
