BREAKING: Maxi Jazz of Faithless passed away today

The legendary lead singer of the English duo has died tonight at 65

The world of historical trance music and not only, on this Christmas Eve evening, is in mourning for the terrible news of the passing of Maxwell Frazer, aka Maxi Jazz, singer and historical leader of the musical duo Faithless and also performed with the likes of Tièsto, Dido, Robbie Williams and Jamiroquai.

He was the voice of most of the English duo’s hits between the mid-90s and early 2000s (“God Is A Dj”, “Insomnia”, “We Come 1” and many others.)

The news of the disappearance comes directly from the social media page of his musical half, Sister Bliss:

“We are heartbroken to say Maxi Jazz died peacefully in his sleep last night .
He was a man who changed our lives in so many ways. He gave proper meaning and a message to our music . He was also a lovely human being with time for everyone and a wisdom that was both profound and accessible. It was an honour and, of course , a true pleasure to work with him. He was a brilliant lyricist, dj, Buddhist , a magnificent stage presence , car lover, endless talker, beautiful person , moral compass and genius. Miss you and love you so much my darling Max, enjoy the great gig in the sky”
