Armin van Buuren and Jean-Michel Jarre sign the ‘Stardust’ follow-up: ‘EPICA MAXIMA’

After eight years, Armin van Buuren release a new beautiful trance collab with Jean-Michele Jarre

There isn’t a moment in which the king of Dutch trance takes a break: it’s a continuous influx of new music, trance or non-trance. Now thanks to his legendary career, his legendary radio show and now his legendary collaborations.

In 2015, Armin van Buuren gave us an unreleased B2B with one of the icons of French electronic music: Stardust, with Jean-Michel Jarre, became one of the most played trance track of that year, a perfect match of electronic trance.

For a few weeks now, however, in his latest DJ sets Armin has sponsored a new track which: had remained incognito until last Thursday, during the last episode of A State Of Trance radio show, but which had a somewhat “familiar” sound: the ‘Tune Of The Week’ of episode 1145 in fact, was the new collaboration between Armin and the French legend.

EPICA MAXIMA is an exciting musical ride, where the sounds that made Jean Michel Jarre’s career historic are very recognisable, pairing well, once again, with the progressive-trance sound of Armin van Buuren.

This new collab is present in Jean Michele Jarre’s new album released yesterday, OXYMOREWORKS.
