We’re almost there ! From June 26 to 29, Zandvoort beach will come alive with the purest trance music during the highly anticipated 2025 edition of Luminosity
In June, the calendar of electronic music events has one undisputed highlight: the Luminosity Beach Festival. Now in its 19th edition, the festival has become a fixed date for trance enthusiasts from all over the world. Since 2022, the event has taken place at Beachclub Bernie’s in Zandvoort, just a few kilometers from its original location in Bloemendaal aan Zee.
What began in 2007 as a niche event has, over the years, turned into a true international benchmark, making any comparison with other festivals in the scene virtually impossible. Luminosity is not just a music festival, it’s a full-blown experience, blending iconic sounds, breathtaking scenery, and a global community of passionate fans.
The heart of the festival beats to the rhythm of trance in all its forms, with a lineup that consistently honors both current artists and legends of the past. This last aspect has played a crucial role in the event’s success. Over the years, Luminosity has rebuilt connections with key figures in the trance scene, often bringing them back to the stage after long absences from live performance. The “classic sets” featured in every edition have reignited a sense of belonging among long-time fans, creating a rare generational bridge in today’s festival landscape.
For the 2025 edition, taking place from June 26 to 29, the organizers are promising record-breaking numbers: more than 120 DJ sets are planned across the four days, delivering four full days of nonstop music in a stunning setting of sea, sand, and sunsets over the North Sea. As many know, Luminosity is not limited to its famous June weekend: over the years, the growing enthusiasm from fans has led the organizers to expand the calendar with new events throughout the year.
On August 2, the party returns to Bloemendaal with the “At the Beach” event, featuring major trance artists such as Bryan Kearney, Hel:sløwed, Marco V, and Sander van Doorn for an unmissable night.
Then, on September 6, also in Bloemendaal, Markus Schulz will bid farewell to summer with an extraordinary Open to Close set.
Finally, on October 24, Luminosity will also be part of ADE, hosting a special night at Club Panama in Amsterdam with “This Is Trance !”.
