In November, the final stop for the TRANSFORMATION edition of the festival will take place at the Velódromo Olímpico in Mexico City
Less than a month remains until the event that will bring the A State Of Trance show back to the UK capital after two years, and the event promises to be massive. The last tickets are still available, thanks to an enticing lineup that blends trance music with techno. After all, the theme of this edition of A State Of Trance, titled TRANSFORMATION, continues to reflect the vision of Armin van Buuren and his team to create a world where the boundaries between trance and adjacent styles no longer seem to exist. We saw this clearly during the major event in Rotterdam last February and again at the end of March during the Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
The TRANSFORMATION era of A State Of Trance will also raise its flag in two other cities this year: in Budapest, during the Sziget Festival on August 10 (where Laura van Dam, Maddix, Nicole Moudaber, Vini Vici, and Armin van Buuren himself will perform), and – as just announced last night during episode 1230 of the radioshow – the event will return to Mexico City on November 8, 2025, at the Velódromo Olímpico, after four years:
Mexico City will once again become the trance capital, as it has been for other recent major events—most notably, the 600th edition of Above & Beyond’s epic Group Therapy, held on October 19, 2024 at Hipódromo de las Américas. The last ASOT-branded event in the Mexican capital took place on November 19, 2021, at the Foro Sol, during the celebration of episode 1000 of Armin van Buuren’s legendary radio show. It was also one of the first events to welcome back live audiences after the peak of the 2020 pandemic.
So now, all that’s left is to head to the official website ASOT MEXICO to pre-register for the event.
