The legendary German duo takes a track from their recent Perspectives EP 1, on which Diana Miro added her vocals, creating their fourth captivating collaboration
During the post-pandemic period, the German duo, made up of Nic and Bossi, experienced yet another flourishing musical phase in terms of production: MOSAIIK, Chapter 1 and 2, were among the best works produced in the trance and progressive scene during that time, between 2021 and 2023.
A huge contribution to this was made by the series of collaborations they had, with the most significant one being the partnership with Ukrainian singer Diana Miro. Three singles were extracted from the double album: Blame, with its catchy progressive sound; Nothing To Hide, a true vocal trance hit; and the following Hear Me Out, which echoed the style of the previous track.
The general appreciation and positive feedback from that collaboration created a lasting impact, and these are tracks that we’ve often heard at festivals, even recently. In the meantime, Cosmic Gate returned to the studio, and in February, they announced an album tour related to their new musical project, titled Perspectives, which is divided into three EPs. The first EP, released on March 28, consists of five tracks: I’m On Fire and Take Me with James French, Battalion with Ginchy, Brave with Christian Burns, and finally, ID 1. It’s on this track that their new collaboration with Diana Miro is based.
Cosmic Gate wrote: “What began as the instrumental ID 1 from our Perspectives EP 1 felt like it was still missing something. Enter Diana Miro. With her signature emotional depth and ethereal vocals, she turned a powerful instrumental into a fully realized anthem.”
The track is called Never Erase You, and it uses the instrumental part of ID 1: the result is a euphoric progressive-vocal track and, if it were necessary to say, this collaboration sounds flawless once again.
