Special celebrations are set for next year, on February 27 and 28, at Ahoy Rotterdam
It had been clear for a few days that something epic was being prepared “behind the scenes” of A State Of Trance, and last night, during episode 1241 of the radioshow, the confirmation arrived: following this year’s edition entitled TRANSFORMATION, the 2026 edition will be dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the radioshow.
Last night, Armin van Buuren made the first announcements, confirming Ahoy Rotterdam as the definitive home for the annual celebrations in the Netherlands, on February 27 and 28, 2026: on Friday, February 27, in a similar way to the postponed ASOT 1000 celebrations in 2023, the 25 years of the radioshow will be revisited with a special 5-hour set by Armin van Buuren featuring guests who have shaped the history of A State Of Trance, also planned the opening of two other stages with other artists.
On Saturday, February 28, the classic show will take place across Ahoy’s five main stages, with a special show where it will be possible to listen to all the styles of the trance genre of recent years.
