The countdown in Poland for the upcoming event on April 11th has already begun: tickets will be available for sale starting from September 15th
In recent months, trance music enthusiasts have focused their attention on one particular event: Dreamstate Southern California, scheduled for November 21st and 22nd. The reason is clear to everyone: not only because of its one of the richest and most impressive lineups of the year for the trance scene, but also because this event will serve as the official stage for Tiësto’s return to trance music behind the decks, after a series of special DJ sets since May that have clearly hinted at the return of trance to his playlists.
Making this event possible is Pasquale Rotella, founder of Insomniac, who also created Dreamstate, a festival celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, first launched in San Bernardino in 2015. After its debut in the United States, the festival expanded internationally, arriving in Europe in 2019 with a permanent home at the Gliwice Arena in Poland. Aside from the forced hiatus in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, this location has now become a true European trance temple, outside of The Netherlands.
On Tuesday, September 9th, the official launch of the 2026 edition began, set for April 11th. The organizers chose to announce three different producers every day via social media, and as of today, all have been revealed, including some artists deeply connected to the history of Dreamstate. Among them is Darren Porter, who, after the 2024 pre-party and his upcoming appearance at Dreamstate SoCal in November, will return to the decks in Europe as well. Next up is Bryan Kearney, who has always shared the stage at the festival with John O’Callaghan under the Key4050 project, and who performed in Europe in 2022 and at SoCal in 2017 and 2018. There will also be the legendary Paul van Dyk, a symbol of global trance and the artist who kicked off the first European edition in 2019, and who will perform again at the Queen Mary in Long Beach on November 11th for Dreamstate SoCal.
Next in line is David Forbes, who already performed at Dreamstate California last year (alongside Mark Sherry), followed by the legend Johan Gielen, who will deliver an incredible classic set. Johan also performed at Dreamstate SoCal in 2019. Avalon and his psy-trance sound have also been announced. The Dreamstate DJ Contest has awarded DJ Goro and Kristiano, two newcomers, with a classic vinyl set.
Ben Hemsley‘s talent will shine at the event after performing in California last year and being a major player in all the recent global trance events, including A State of Trance. The tenth artist, announced yesterday, is the return of ATB, André Tanneberger, who wrote last year’s personal anthem “Future City” for the event and will be a key figure at the 2026 edition. Finally, the eleventh and last artist to be revealed is Jan Loechel, DJ and producer behind numerous legendary trance tracks.
The feeling is that, more than ever, the trance scene seems to be bringing back big names to events that, not long ago, seemed unreachable. Tickets go on sale from Monday 15th September at 7PM CET on Dreamstate Europe 2026.
