SHINE Ibiza closes the summer with a special event

Since 2018, Paul van Dyk has been a driving force in establishing a steady presence of pure trance in Ibiza: the concept of a fixed residency exceeded all expectations. The very first edition, featuring eleven weekly dates at Privilege, one of the island’s most iconic clubs, marked the beginning of a tradition that, seven years later, continues to host internationally renowned names who have now become almost regulars.

For 2025, however, the schedule has been altered: the four September dates originally planned at Eden were cancelled, as announced last July. Nevertheless, the organization quickly responded by choosing 528 as the new venue, turning the initial disappointment into excitement thanks to a single, exclusive event. The show is set to be a true mini-festival, following an open-air into club format and offering a total of 10 hours of non-stop music.

The line-up is top-tier: alongside Paul van Dyk will be long-time SHINE favorites Aly & Fila, the unmistakable UK trance sound of John O’Callaghan, the legendary John 00 Fleming, the uplifting energy of Ciaran McAuley, and the refined musical touch of Amy Wiles. Completing the program will be a host of community DJs and local resident talents.

After gracing iconic venues such as Privilege, Eden, and now 528, SHINE Ibiza once again reaffirms its strength and commitment to bringing the most authentic trance to the island, in a landscape otherwise dominated by other electronic genres.

But the SHINE events of September don’t end here, on Saturday 20th at the Groovebox Binks Yard in Nottingham the ‘Open Air’ event will bring exceptional guests, confirming the presence of the boss PvD, Aly & Fila, John OO Fleming. Alex M.O.R.P.H., Bryan Kearney and Dark Fusion will join the event.
