The British producer continues his musical evolution through his powerful LSR/CITY alias, announcing new tour stops and upcoming music projects
The year 2025 marked the full breakthrough of the spectacular LSR/CITY and CYBERPUNK tour combination, a concept that allowed Gareth Emery to develop a new and decisive idea of music.
Last year’s journey, which covered most of the major cities across the United States before closing in London, brought to the stage a format which, as we discussed some time ago, managed to win over a loyal audience of high-quality electronic music lovers through a blend of lasers, vocals, and synthesizers.
The new year has already seen an expansion of the tour, reaching the Asian continent in January, first in Jakarta, and then the following day at EDC Thailand. When it comes to international festivals, the brand has clearly decided to focus strongly on them this year, linking its name especially to Dreamstate. In the past week, fans in Melbourne and Sydney were able to experience the CYBERPUNK tour’s explosion of colors during the Dreamstate events promoted by Insomniac.
This second phase of his musical journey will resume on February 20 at EDC Mexico, followed by a stop on February 21 at Nova SD in San Diego. March will begin on the 6th with his return to Dreamstate San Francisco, in a month that will then see him perform in Hollywood at Avalon on March 14, and in Honolulu at HB Social Club on March 27, before closing on March 28 at Beyond Wonderland SoCal at the NOS Event Center.
A month and a half of shows that have already taken, and will continue to take, the Southampton producer across multiple continents.
After this run, Gareth has announced that he will be taking a break, as his work on new music, which over the past year has included several releases from the CYBERPUNK album as well as brand-new material, often created together with Annabel, is, as he stated, “well underway.”
With several major projects already ready and others still to be finalized, his main goal in the coming months will be to lock himself in the studio and complete the production of his future music.
In the meantime, this week will see the release of There Is A Light That Never Goes Out, a cover of The Smiths classic, once again in collaboration with Annabel, offering a preview that highlights the melodic and vocal strengths of both artists together.
With new CYBERPUNK Tour dates and unreleased music already in the works, Gareth Emery confirms he is entering one of the most creative and ambitious phases of his career. 2026 is shaping up to be a year full of exciting developments for both him and the LSR/CITY project, with new chapters ready to unfold between the stage and the studio.
