On May 18, the Chinese producer’s new single will be released on Future Sound Of Egypt, a track that remained a stunning ID for months
In recent years, the trance scene has seen the rise of new talents from every corner of the world. What was once a musical culture strongly tied to Europe has now crossed every geographical boundary, reaching countries where the genre had never enjoyed such a significant impact before. China, too, has recently begun carving out an important space for itself thanks to several artists who have caught the attention of some of the most prestigious labels in the scene. Among them is undoubtedly Song Qiang, better known as ALIGASH.
Although active in the music world for quite some time, the Chinese producer has truly started making a name for himself over the last five years, closely associating his career with Future Sound Of Egypt. It’s no secret that Aly & Fila have strongly believed in his talent, recognizing in him a style and musical vision perfectly aligned with their own interpretation of trance. Last year, his remix of Gift Of Love, originally produced by Carlos De Matos, proved to be a true gem for attentive listeners, although it was already Quicksand in 2024 that highlighted his distinctive production style and musical identity. ALIGASH then continued his journey with Clouds’Hometown, a production that further strengthened the consistency and quality of his sound.
However, the real turning point probably came during last year’s ADE, at the legendary A State Of Trance marathon in Amsterdam. During the various guest mixes throughout the event, Fadi – representing Aly & Fila – closed his set with an absolutely extraordinary ID (in absolute preview a few days before Trasmission Malaysia 2025): for many listeners, it almost felt like the beginning of a new artistic phase for the Egyptian duo, today, however, we know that the track actually belonged to ALIGASH.
