Backed by renewed and growing artistic inspiration, Leon Bolier joins forces once again with Rotterdam trance legend Ferry Corsten, this time alongside Mostly Cloudy: the result is Bring Me Back To Life, a new production already supported by Armin van Buuren during the latest episodes of A State Of Trance and also featured by Tiësto during Prismatic, with a release on Flashover Recordings coming soon
There are artists who have already written important chapters in the history of trance with tracks that have become true symbols of the genre but who, after the pandemic, seem to have rediscovered an even stronger artistic inspiration: among them, Leon Bolier undoubtedly stands out.
The Dutch DJ and producer, who in recent years has mainly adopted the BLR alias, has managed to remain consistently at the forefront thanks to refined productions and high-quality collaborations. Among them, the partnership with Amber Revival deserves special mention: after a series of highly acclaimed releases, the two projects decided to launch the Blooom Records sub-label, part of the larger Soave Records. This weekend, the label released a reinterpretation of a famous soul/jazz classic by American composer George Gershwin, called Summertime, accompanied by a powerful progressive trance remix, the Podium Mix.
In recent months, moreover, the artistic journey of Leon Bolier has crossed paths once again with that of Ferry Corsten: the two producers had already collaborated in 2021 on the beautiful Trust You, created together with NBLM and released on Flashover Recordings. Very soon, the same label will also release their new collaboration together with Polish producer Mostly Cloudy, who had previously worked with Leon Bolier last October on Stars Begin To Fall, alongside Dennis Sheperd and Katty Heath, and later in February on Charge.
The new production by Ferry Corsten, Leon Bolier and Mostly Cloudy is titled Bring Me Back To Life and has already been played several times by Armin van Buuren during the latest episodes of A State Of Trance, as well as by Tiësto during Prismatic. The track features a euphoric trance chorus in which the unmistakable sound signature of Ferry Corsten clearly shines through, perfectly blended with the stylistic elements of the other two producers: the result is a deep, melodic and emotional trance track, while at the same time delivering the energy needed to captivate major festival crowds.
While waiting to discover the release date of Bring Me Back To Life on Flashover Recordings, Ferry Corsten is meanwhile preparing to release a powerful new collaboration with Paul Oakenfold, scheduled for next Friday. The track is titled Metaverse and will be released alongside the announced Mission Underground compilation: in short, it’s shaping up to be a truly exciting summer for some of the biggest names in trance!
