June 2027 Is Set to Be a Memorable Month for Trance Events!

Some months stand out for a single major event: June 2027 could be remembered for an entire series of them. With landmark celebrations, long-awaited returns and major international gatherings all falling within a few weeks, the opening month of next summer is already shaping up to be something special for trance fans worldwide

There is little doubt that the festival and live events market has grown significantly since the pandemic. This trend also extends to electronic music and, in particular, trance, which has been attracting renewed interest from audiences. The results are clear: increasingly large-scale productions, line-ups packed with major names and a musical offering that caters both to fans of classic trance sounds and to those who follow the genre in its more recent forms.

Several events for 2027 have already been announced, but further news is likely to emerge over the coming weeks. The Amsterdam Dance Event, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a series of events in Amsterdam from October 21 to 25, could provide the setting for more announcements. Attention is also turning to A State of Trance: during a special radio marathon scheduled for Thursday, October 22, from 13:00 to 23:00, further details may emerge from the Amsterdam studios about the two-day celebration at Ahoy Rotterdam on February 26 and 27, 2027. The first artists announced have already caught the attention of fans around the world, thanks to an impressive line-up.

Next year, however, already has all the ingredients to go down in trance history. Why? An extraordinary concentration of major events, long-awaited returns and important anniversaries, all taking place within a single month: June 2027.

The first weekend to mark on the calendar is June 11 and 12, when two major international events will take place almost simultaneously. On one side, as recently announced, A State of Trance will bring its Celebration Weekend to the United States for the first time, with a format inspired by the Dutch celebrations and a new destination: Ace Mission Studios in Los Angeles. A On the other side, Sheffield, England, will host the main UK celebration of FSOE1000 on June 12, marking a major milestone for Aly & Fila and their Future Sound of Egypt brand. This will be the biggest UK event dedicated to the milestone, with further FSOE1000 celebrations taking place throughout 2027, including an event in London on March 6.

With thousands of kilometres separating the two events, fans will inevitably face a difficult choice: two major experiences, both expected to attract audiences from all over the world.

The following weekend promises to be just as memorable: on Saturday, June 19, Tiësto in Concert will return to Legia Stadium in Warsaw, Poland, more than twenty years after its historic editions. The announcement has already generated an extraordinary response, with tickets nearing a sell-out months before the show.

But this is more than just a long-awaited return: Tiësto will celebrate his artistic journey with a special four-hour set dedicated to his trance legacy, bringing the sound that helped define an era back into the spotlight. For longtime fans, the event represents a rare opportunity to reconnect with a fundamental chapter in the history of trance, while seeing one of the genre’s most influential figures revisit the music that shaped his career.

And the celebrations will not end there. Just a few days later, attention will shift to the Netherlands for the 20th anniversary of Luminosity Beach Festival: alongside the usual event on the beaches of Zandvoort, taking place from June 25 to 28, a full week of celebrations is expected to honour a festival that has become an essential destination for fans of authentic trance.

As mentioned earlier, the standard reached by trance events worldwide makes it increasingly difficult to single out one festival as clearly superior to the others. Production scale, artist quality and the variety of line-ups have reached remarkable levels across the scene. Yet this is precisely what makes June 2027 potentially special even for a scene that has become accustomed to large-scale events.
