Vincent de Moor – Orion City (Moonman’s Drift Mix)

Vincent de Moor left an indelible mark on the history of Dutch trance between the mid-90s and the early 2000s, also following successful collaborations, aliases and remixes; in 1998 he released his debut album Orion City which included most of his successes published during the previous two years: in 1998 the DJ and producer from Delft released the single that gave the album its name, Orion City, on Deal Records, an energetic trance track with “dreamlike” sounds. Ferry Corsten meanwhile was in the ascendancy phase of his career with his famous alias Moonman: with this alias, remixed this record that year, amplifying the evocative sensations of it: a perfect ‘astral conjunction’ between the two legendary producers, this remix becomes memorable thanks to the unmistakable dreamy intro which however does not take away nothing to the original symphony. Vincent de Moor and Ferry Corsten will meet again the following year to sign one of the most famous classics ever created in the history of trance music.
