With the launch of his new label, the Irish artist opens a new musical phase in his career
Among last year’s releases, those that left an unmistakable mark, Home certainly stands out. The track by Sneijder, featuring the voice of Holly Kirby, a trance reinterpretation of Enya’s original work, was able to convey, especially to industry insiders, the feeling of one of the finest trance interpretations of recent years.
Through this dedication to his work, the Irish producer has given everything in the studio over the past months, with the intention of bringing new musical projects to life. From today, these projects are supported by a new label, Rave Revolution, while also affirming his alias ALT1.
The choice to explore new musical horizons now seems to involve the majority of producers with many years of experience behind them. Andrew is certainly part of this movement and has chosen to take a slightly different musical path: renewing his old school roots through influences that range from true rave to hard house, hard trance and even hip hop, styles that have most likely influenced his production journey in the past. Giving momentum to this new musical phase is his young alias ALT1, which already showcased the stylistic qualities the producer has chosen to pursue with Let The Bass Kick, in collaboration with MDDLTN, released in June last year.
Born in 2023 with the single Second Coming on Dreamstate, ALT1 is a project that needed a much broader path to fully express itself in its natural genre. After a long period of studio work, this led to the creation of a dedicated label. Sneijder has shared with his fans the idea of an upcoming documentary, divided into five parts, which will tell the story of the best moments, influences and decisions behind this new musical journey. In the meantime, Inside Out is the debut track of ALT1 on Rave Revolution, set to be released soon.
Meanwhile, Afterdark celebrates its tenth anniversary, and its musical productions with Sneijder will continue as always, following a parallel path filled with equally strong emotions.
