After some successful collaborations in the previous two years together with The Blizzard and Susana, in 2012 the fame of Yevhen Oleksandrovych Smyrnov, better known as Omnia from Ukraine, finally explodes: a pinch of dub step sound, combined with progressive-trance synergy and whispered voice by IRA (“Ai, oh, make the-ha, ey, hahahaha hey !”) are the ingredients of the phenomenal “The Fusion”: supported enormously by Armin van Buuren (in the Top3 of the most voted tracks in the “Tune Of The Year” of that year), it was one of the most played trance track of 2012 and the captivating and by now unmistakable sound of “The Fusion” then prompted numerous follow ups to confirm the success achieved by the young Omnia with this record.
