The special day of the annual A State Of Trance marathon released yesterday, with the victory of an anthem destined to make history
When Armin van Buuren announced a special live broadcast on June 12th, it was clear that something big was about to be created: after all, with names like Ferry Corsten, Rank 1 and Ruben de Ronde it couldn’t have been otherwise: we followed these almost fifteen hours of live broadcast in which the four legends of trance music tried their hand at creating the new anthem of the radio show.
Well in advance therefore, the anthem for the edition 2024 of A State Of Trance was born on June 14th: DESTINATION, a track in which all the highest musical characteristics of each creative member were released, but in one word : epic.
In the 22 years of A State Of Trance, a anthem of a event had never managed to reach this high in the special year-end ranking, so it is clear that this new track was rewarded not only for being a beautiful official anthem and the track behind it he were in any case deserving.

Amber Revival – If You Only Knew: it’s no surprise that this song has reached so high and with all the merits: we literally fell in love with this collaboration, a poetic progressive-trance track with a classic sound and a magnificent voice, these are all the characteristics of If You Only Knew, one of the most beautiful trance track of this last decade, definitely “above” …
#4 Armin van Buuren – Space Case: we expected it to be so high, one of the most relevant tracks of the year: all the energy that evokes the trance music of the late 90s and early 2000s released with this journey into space by Armin van Buuren, practically impossible not to jump !
#3 Bryan Kearney & Bo Bruce – Shine A Light: the Irish DJ and producer continues his golden moment after last year (Take This with Plumb and Out of The Dust decreed Tune Of The Year 2022) with this fantastic new track vocal uplifting with Bo Bruce (also Tune Of The Year in 2014 with Gareth Emery for U): well done ! (and kudos to Bryan for the equally wonderful Encanta, at #15)
#2 Ben Gold – Rest Of Our Lives (Paul Webster Remix): it seems incredible, but the same track last year, in its original version, was at number 2: we loved this Ben Gold track last year and at the same way we appreciate this massive Paul Webster remix this year, very supported by the uplifting community: banger !
