Hel:Sløwed and Amber Revival sign a new masterpiece together: ‘Wildfire’

The long awaited follow-up to one of most beloved trance track of last year is about to released

During the celebrations to discover the first fifty favorite tracks of 2023 of A State Of Trance radioshow in the Amsterdam studios last December, among many acclaimed successes, one track had caught the attention of many people, including that of the hosts of A State Of Trance, Armin van Buuren, Ruben de Ronde, Ferry Corsten and Nina de Koning, who had chosen it as one of their favourite tracks of the year: the Dutch Misja Helsloot & Michael de Kooker, aka Hel:Sløwed, had in fact started a collaboration in the previous months with Arie and Netta, the Amber Revival, releasing, at September 8th, 2023, the track If You Only Knew, on Armind.

If You Only Knew is one of the most beautiful vocal trance tracks of recent years, which arrived at the end of last summer as a breath of quality trance, combining progressive sounds with an exceptional combination of voices: the result recalls many great trance classics, as stated by Armin van Buuren himself during the special episode of end of the year (If You Only Knew was #5 of A State Of Trance Top50 of 2023); The song was recently remixed by as Bogdan Vix and Mitch de Klein, two new remix released in a new EP also containing the intro mix of the track.

Given the wide appreciation from fans, Hel:Sløwed and Amber Revival returned to the studio together at the beginning of the year to jointly produce a new track, which was premiered during the irresistible Misja & Michael’s DJ set at A State of Trance Festival at Ahoy Rotterdam last February 24th, with an exciting live performance by Amber Revival: the new track finally has a title, Wildfire:

Once again, we are faced with a track that incredibly enhances the vocal permormance of Amber Revival: a track with emotional lyric, as the refrain “in the air you’re breathing …” that rises and gives you chills and that is finally embraced by a catchly progressive-trance rhythm.

Hel:Sløwed and Amber Revival have had a really intense 2024 in the meantime: the Hel:Sløwed’s remix of the iconic Hold That Sucker Down by Jerome Isma Ae was one of the most appreciated remixes of the last few weeks and their strong trance collaboration with Driftmoon, Orion has just been released. Among the main protagonists of the latest edition of the Luminosity Beach Festival, where they played again Wildfire, Misja and Michael will play next August 11th at the prestigious UNTOLD Festival in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

Arie and Netta have been protagonists of some beautiful trance releases with authors such as Sherano (for Hit and Run), Kiholm (Thousand Butterflies) and there are other collaborations and an unreleased trance track coming as a solo project of Amber Revival.

The new track together seals the perfect match between the two pairs of artists, for what will undoubtedly once again be one of the most beloved tracks of the year.

Wildfire will finally be released on August: more info to follow very soon.
