The follow-up to ‘Illuminate’ arrives on Friday, January 9
2026 has only just begun and, as expected, it is already shaping up to be an extraordinarily rich year for quality music. Just a few days after the launch of his new radio show Statement! Radio, with the first episode airing on New Year’s Day, Ruben de Ronde has wasted no time in showcasing the intensity of his newly started musical year. This comes only weeks after the official release of the single ArenA, which marks the debut of his new project EBENEZER, created together with Estiva, a project that will take the stage at the upcoming A State Of Trance event at Ahoy Rotterdam on February 27 and 28.
Ruben de Ronde has therefore returned to the studio alongside Amber Revival, who are also set to experience a year of exceptional musical growth and will likewise be part of the event celebrating the 25th anniversary of A State Of Trance at the end of February: this Friday, in fact, their new collaboration titled River In Me will be released on Statement! Recordings. The track was premiered during a live performance by Amber Revival at Ruben de Ronde’s DJ set at Transmission ADE last October 24, and represents the natural follow-up to their previous release Illuminate, published in December 2024 and among the most acclaimed tracks of the past year.

If anyone still needed confirmation of Arie and Netta’s vocal potential, River In Me delivers it without leaving any room for doubt: the track is powerful and convincing in every part, but reaches its peak shortly before the electronic trance drop, when Netta’s voice explodes, sending intense emotions and genuine shivers down listeners’ spines. With this release, Amber Revival add yet another piece to a steadily rising phase in their career, marked by an impressive run of releases over the past months, including End Of Time with Skytech, as well as the successful collaborations with BLR on Feeling Good and I Miss You In The Nights, all tracks balancing between trance and a progressive-electronic sound.
